Let's just say that it is
TIME. It is time to find a new car and retire the old Grand Prix. I can't even imagine the amount of money that Bill and I have put into this car. I got her when I moved back home after college and my Cavalier went kaput (and yes I always called my car a her). She was a repo at a credit union and it was the first time I was able to get a loan without a co-signer. The day I paid the Grand Prix off was wonderful. I was sure that everything would go wrong after that day and needless to say......it pretty much has. Everything under the hood has basically been rebuilt. The tires are as new as you can find. But now.....now there is a leak in the reserve tank that holds the coolant. The light had been coming on to tell us that the coolant was low, but it always did that. But on our way to get groceries on Sunday the car decided that it wanted to go from cold to hot and back down every 30 seconds. Let me just say that it scared me and I get so absolutely paranoid that my car is going to explode. While we were out Bill bought some coolant, and some stuff that is supposed to help block a leak. We got home and he put the so-called leak blocker and coolant in the tank and it seems to be helping. Let's hope it will work for awhile or at least until we can figure out when and how we can purchase a new vehicle.
I hope it seals off for a little bit!!
